I'm new to the forum and fairly new to hand loading.
I'm currently working with my Ruger .22 Hornet trying to get MOA groups from the 40 grain Nosler Ballistics. Unfortunatley All my re-loading manuals only list the 45 grain bullet. My reason for the 40 is because I have aquired an abundant supply. I currently have the orange tipped 40's sitting atop 10 grains of IMR 4227, with CCI small rifle primers, and winchester brass. The grouping isn't tight whatsoever. Any and all recommendations for getting this particular bullet to perform would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks,
