Ruger No. 1 ring question

I'm going to exchange the high rings that came with my 1A and am unsure if I should go with the mediums or lows.

I'm planning on a 32-36mm objective, so I'd like to hear what people are using on their rifles with similar scopes. Clearance for loading/unloading the rifle is also of concern. Has anyone had problems with enough clearance under the eyepiece when using low rings?

Love those No.1's!!! I have 2 and both have medium rings with a 3-9x40mm Leupold on top. I don't have any problems with clearance under the eyepiece, but I think they are both about as low as they can go because of the front objective. On a different note... both of mine have the extension ring on the back to be able to move the scope far enough back. It's a pretty common issue with the No.1's but if that's the only flaw, I'll take it. Not sure if that helps since you're talking about a smaller objective.

With a 32 obj you can use low rings, the offset rings only come in medium height.
