Buddy sent me a message yesterday and i had to go see for myself, but my favorite store is going out of business 😢.20261003_093954.jpg

They were a small montana chain of sporting goods stores, all sports golf to hunting, there were 6 stores all together, started over 100 years ago. Recently bought by Als Sporting Goods out of Utah, around 3 or 4 years ago. This is the 3rd to close, not sure if the last 2 are also in process. Quality, policy, selection, customer service all changed with new ownership, and not for the better. Couldn't even begin to imagine how many thousands of dollars ive spent there for firearms, fishing, hunting, shoes, camping, kids sports. Yesterday i went in and just sort of walked around sad, didn't even buy anything just took it in.
Unfortunately corporate buy out tends to do that, you can see it with other companies here in town, Mystery Ranch, Simms, Stone Glacier all recently bought and can already see how products and service has changed. Sigh...😔

Yes, sad to see the bean counters effect on businesses!
Customer service goes out the window, and it's all about the profit margins!
And they have that "It's not personal, it's just business attitude".:poop:

What they forget is that customer service is personal!
Real people assisting real people.
Where regular customers are known and called by name when they come in, and are treated like old friends and family.
They take the time to listen to your questions, and provide, or find you, the answers you are looking for.
And they know you and your interests , likes, wants and needs, and will tell you when something that will be just what you need comes in! :D
