Sako 85 Kodiak in 375 H&H is coming!

Lou, what a great combination the 270WSM and the 375 Hurt & Hurt you could not do any better than that my friend :mrgreen:.

Thanks buddy :) ..I'm looking forward to it..I'm kinda hooked on the .375 H&H now :roll: ..I finaly got my .270wsm blooded this year 3 times (Lucky)..plan on hunting with both this year, but mostly with the .375 H&H 8) ...do I need it?..Naw, but I like it :twisted: ..Your buddy...Lou :grin:

Lou, I know what you mean. I have wanted a 375 H&H for awhile. Just a classic cool cartridge. I am starting to go back in time with what I like I think. Those old H&H's are some awesome performers...
 
Well, It was very hard to find :roll: ..But I got it from another dealer last week! :grin:..I'm in love with this rifle, from the great iron sights, balance/looks etc..I put a Leupold VX-3 2.5x8x36mm (silver scope to top it off) on it as well as Sako Optilock Medium rings and bases on it. I find the medium rings give me a much better cheek weld on the scope by far. The low rings would have worked as well, but I found the mediums to be better for my shooting. I now have 2 Sako 85's and love them both :grin: ...I well post pics of both big and little brother twins side by side.

Welcome back Lou. Congrats on those incoming grand kids. Grandpa Lou needs to start looking for proper rifles for them youngins! Don't want them coming into this world unarmed!

Thanks very much for the kind words fella's :) ..I defeated back surgery for sure :grin: ..It sure does feel great be able to enjoy my life again for sure. A herniated disc caused me alot of pain etc. But that's another story, and behind me now 8) ..Anyways here's some pics for you to see, I'm very happy to be back, and looking forward to my grandson, and grand daughter :wink: ..Lou.
