So I've been curious about this rifle and cartridge. Picked one up at a very fair price, topped it off with a Burris 3x9 that I had laying around for just such an application.
The rifle will primarily be used for ground squirrels, porcupines, skunks and the like.

The squares are1/2 MOA, nice little triangle at 100 yards. I think this might work.

It certainly looks as if it will give you acceptable service. Varmints beware!
 
Regardless of looks and such (which I don't mind myself :grin: ) Savages generally shoot.
Nice rifle and should do very nicely for what you intend. Probably zap a coyote nicely if the opportunity arises also.
