hello!
someone here is familiar with this setup.
or with the caliber.
i think it would be perfect for the type of woodchuck hunting i do.
i hunt in populated area where a low muzzleblast is welcome and where a 200 yard shot is long. it's in average 100 yard.
i was looking for a kind of accuracy review of the caliber.
thanks

The Hornet can be an extremely accurate cartridge. As for the savage? Hey I can not say enough good things about them. I am a huge fan!!!! The only guns that were problematic with the Hornet were the 77/22 Rugers (not the heavy barrels). Unless you got lucky and got a good one those usually sucked accuracy wise.
