Well, my son saw the filed down Ballistic Tips on my bench and asked what some of his bullets looked like, so I handed him the file and let him have a go at the 100gr Partitions. Well, about 20 minutes later, this is what he ended up with. Scotty

Lots of fun having a partner at the reloading bench. Good for you and I hope that he continues to enjoy spending time with you.

Scotty -
Nice to see Brandon getting into the reloading game with you. My 25 year old is finally realizing that he wants to figure what is involved in "rolling your own". Right now he is still more interested in finding the perfect recipe for his new brewing company  . I told him that is a fairly good trade right now....I make bullets...he keeps me supplied in good dark beers!!!

Joel, you are not kidding about that, maybe I will get him a home brewing kit for Christmas, seems like a fair trade, I load his rounds, and he keeps me in the ales! He likes to help, as does his sister, so there is hope yet for them! Scotty

Scotty,

Thats great! Glad Brandon is interested in loading. You got a real good thing going there.

Friends don't let friends load alone! I would be happy to help you load, and sip on a few dark beers!

JD - Too funny  . Nice to know there are others on the board that appreciate some flavor in their beer. I save most of the sipping for when I am done loading, but I would welcome anyone that wants to come visit the reloading room and share some good Oatmeal Stout or good ale.

You're on buddy!

JD - looks like we are from the same part of the country, so you would know how important it is to have a "good" beer around with the cold weather setting in!

Ya ah.

Actually, I am not much of a beer drinker but I do really like dark ales. Black & Tan.

Scotty,

Those are a couple of neat pictures. Certainly, the sectioned Partition is interesting, but having your son as your loading partner brings back memories from quite a few years back when I had constant hunting and fishing partners in two daughters and a son. Keep up the good work.

Thanks fellers, I appreciate it. I try not to force anything on him. But man, do I wanna put some deer in front of him this year, I figure when he DRT's some deer with his 243 and either PT's or BT's he will be a Nosler kid and eventually a Nosler man in the future, like I am.

Jim-Joel (or any of the rest of you all), we will have to get one of them beers (or soda's if y'all don't drink) one of these times. I really need to make it up to your AO. We all should try and link up somewhere we can tell stories and talk about guns in the outdoors, around a camp fire! That would be pretty good fun for me. Scotty

I went through that phase. I have pounds of sectioned bullets. Of course that was years ago when they did not cost the same as a bottle of 12 year old scotch! :p

There is nothing better than a good campfire. Some of my best life experiences with friends and family have happened there.
