Didn't find any trophy rams, but saw some, and tagged 'em with my 300! The 300mm lens that is...

At one point I was about 50' away from a group of juvenile rams, butting heads! It was awesome!

Delight pictures, Guy. These fellows are always a joy to watch up close. It is amazing how nonchalant they can appear whenever we approach them. However, they trust in their ability to scamper up slopes that would leave the most dedicated sportsman panting.

Guy,

Outstanding photography as always. Thank you for sharing.

Guy, do you hunt them every year with just a hunting license or permit or draw or whatever you fellows have to do, I know it varies per species and area, but I don't follow what game in what area can be hunted and how easy it is to do so

The only way I can hunt them, is with a camera.

There is a draw for the tag, but it's a "once in a lifetime" tag, and the odds are very, very high against drawing that tag. Only a few tags are given out every year. Three of my friends have drawn over the years though, so maybe I'll get a tag one of these years as well!

Nice Pictures and you are very Lucky to live so close to such nice country.

Thanks, and very deliberately moved here 20+ years ago. Right at the confluence of two rivers, and surrounded by mountains. I'm a happy man here. A wintertime photo of my town, Wenatchee, WA:

WOW !!! What a fantastic view. That photo would look great framed and
on display in my office. Jealousy is not a trait we humans are supposed
to have but having that view near your home almost causes it.

Actually Guy, I found out a long time ago when photographing deer that they apparently know that you're holding a camera instead of a fire stick. I didn't believe it at first but it always seemed to work that way.
