So I took my daughters to Wyoming for there first Antelope hunt. We were taken in by a friend of a friend and given a great house to stay in and pointed in the right direction on some good Antelope hunting. My youngest daughter ended up taking her buck using a Remington model Seven in 243, shooting 90 grain Accubonds at 2800 fps. 190 yard frontal shot dropped the buck where it stood.

Her older sister then went on a 4 hour stalk and ended up shooting her buck at 300ish yards, using a Rem model Seven in 7mm-08 and a 120 grain Ballistic Tip at 2650 fps.

Dad couldn't have been happier.....until they both shot their doe's within the next 45 minutes!!

My girls both think Nosler should send them each a t-shirt or something for all the marketing they are doing :)

Glad to see those sisters with a big smile on their faces standing over 2 very nice speed goats and I guess you have some good friends that hooked you guys up and I bet you did a little knife sharpening with a big smile on your face for sure! Great story and congrats to them both!

Great job congrats to both girls! There are a lot of proud dads around here lately. Excellent choice as well with the cartridges and the Model 7's too.

And yes Nosler should send out a little prize to them :)

Very nice!
Congrats to you three.

They have been having a blast over here. Even spent a few hours shooting prairie dogs. Living in Western Washington they don't get to see a lot of animals on a regular basis, so they are always quick to point out whatever they do see. They have traveled to Montana several times, the older one has also hunted there, and they always look forward to leaving the "Wet Side" of the state. Now I just have to convince them to move after college and I'll follow with the guns and ammo for them!!

Great hunt and great shooting by your daughters. You have to be thrilled.

I tried to get my girls to move somewhere where the hunting was terrific after college so I could follow or at least have a base camp and darn if they both didn't stay in Ohio. Guess that's ok as I get to see them and my grandsons regularly.

Congratulations to both of the young ladies as well to Dad who has spent some real quality time teaching them in a fine sport of hunting & shooting. No one will ever be able to take these memories away from the three of you.
Thank you for the post and the photos it makes my day even more pleasant.

Blessings,
Dan
