solid base vs Accubond

Besides the difference in the tips was is differnece between the solid base bullet and the AccuBond?

The solid base is a conventional cup and core design with a solid boat tail base. The Ballistic Tip is of the same basic design but with a Polycarbonate
tip to increase the BC and promote rapid expansion.
The AccuBond is similar, but different to the Ballistic Tip, having a thicker jacket and a bonded core.
