Those old 303's can give some surprisingly good accuracy, nice load and shooting. My old 1942 No 4 Mk 1 does pretty good even though it has some pitting in the bore.

Fwiw...on some forums people are thinking lvr and cfe223 are twins. Perhaps slightly different coatings. Cfe is kinda hard to find around here and I'm getting low.
I checked the wt/volume of the two powders and it was identical.
I thought I might get lucky and find its pretty much the same so I ran a test of equal charges in a light load in my 7mm08.
The result was 50 fps different and a slightly but noticeable change in impact.
So....I can say after that that whatever the difference is......there is a difference.
Btw...the lvr was the faster of the 2 powders.

That's pretty interesting.. LVR is fantastic in my 35 Remington and 30-30.. Kinda makes me wonder how it would do in the 358 Winchester.

Lvr is doing great in my 3030 too...and it burns darn clean near Max loads.
