I'm having this built and should be done in a short time.

It is a .270 Ingwe,which is either a .257 Roberts necked up or the 7x57 necked down.

On the left is the .257 Rbts necked up to .277",middle is .257,on the right is a 7x57 necked down to .277".

Headstamps. Yes,I know the headstamp says .275 Rigby.

Dummy rounds,on the left is a 130 grain Sierra Pro Hunter. On the right is a 160 grain Nosler Partition.

The rifle is a CZ 550 American.

Nice, that should get old Ingwe riled up I always thought a 277 on a 308 case would have been a good one too........

I grew up on the farm and still put green paint over my breakfast pancakes. I bet we have the only one of these in Alaska:

Don’t want to further derail your thread. I’m very good at it[emoji1]. That’s a fine looking rifle. The CZ line has always interested me, being a lefty they have some nice options. Have to try one some day when my “roll your own” bug passes.

We had a 4450 for about 25 years,it was a workhorse on the farm.

You'll like the CZ's as they are smooth and usually very accurate. The downside is they can be heavy. The one above with a Leupold 6x42mm scope weighed 9 lbs. It was easy to shoot as the recoil was not much,and a 7x57 in a 9 lb rifle is not going to come back much anyway.

Yup,a short.270 and yes,it does "rile up" Tom.

I'm thinking that with a 130 grain bullet the velocity should be in the 2800-2900 fps range.
