Recently introduced a new salad to the table. It turned out to be a hit with my lady. She tells me I can make it any time. It is simply romaine, torn into bite size pieces, 1 tomato chopped, 2 avocados (peeled, pitted, sliced), 1 thinly sliced red onion, 1/2 cup of cheddar grated cheese, 1 cup of fresh cilantro leaves, 1/2 cup of Paces Picante Sauce, salt and pepper to taste. The salad is finished with 4 flour tortillas, sliced thin and baked at 350 until crisp (about 15 minutes). Toss all the ingredients except for the tortilla slices, which are used as topping. The Picante is the dressing. Makes a very fine salad.
