Hi,
I recently ordered some of the new deepcurl 120gr bullets for my 25.06. I didn't really pay that much attention to the description other than weight and caliber when i ordered them but when they arrived Boron Nitride Coated is on the box label. I went to the Speer website and got load data and it states that this data is specifically for Boron Nitride Coated bullets but i can't really find out much about the coating. The bullets aren't shiney but are dull in color. I also noticed that this coating isn't on all the deepcurl bullets just specific calibers. Could someone please tell me what this coating is and what is the purpose/benefits of it? Thank You! Mike

Was wondering the same, the 140 gr 6.5mm that I would like to try also has it.

The coating is Hexagonal Boron Nitride and it has the benefits of moly without the negatives.
I have a pound of it (enough for 100 lifetimes) but it's difficult to see a dramatic difference in my shooting.
Google it to get bombarded with info.
Here is another good link.
