Speer deep curl?

I have them for my 25.06, when i was researching they sometimes caused pressure spikes, so they started coating them. They shoot fine as I recall but only loaded a couple dozen. And now that im writing this I think I have some 6.5 too that ive never messed with.

I used some 140gr Gold Dots in my first 6.5 CM loads, I think they are a similar bullet. Granted, I didn't have a lot of time for load development, but I wasn't particularly impressed with their accuracy or results on deer. They seemed to pass thru without dumping much energy, so if you like to take shoulder shots they'll probably be ok. I prefer to stay off the bone if possible, and the Hornady SST was a much better bullet for that kind of shooting. Also, it was MUCH more accurate in my rifle than the Gold Dots were. If these bullets are like the Gold Dots, you MUST use the Speer load data for them. They handle pressure differently than a normal cup and core bullet.

At that price I’ll buy them just to shoot at boulders across the canyon or steel plates. Probably done shooting at boulders given the fire danger this year. In any event, I’ll buy some just to shoot from position. They may be accurate, good on game but I’ve all the confidence I need in my hunting load. No need to change that. What I always need is good practice loads. Get them shooting 1 1/2 with powder I need to use up, load them in batches of 50 and go ring plates.
That is a screaming deal.
