SPS has 338 - 210 gr seconds

Same here Eric! I laid into a bunch of them as well.. My 338 seems to like them a bunch. Hoping to see how they work on elk in a few weeks!

338 wm I am new to reloading, but I use RL-19

I also have a 338 Federal that will get tested with these also. Probably TAC for the Federal

What powder you guys running?

Just out of curiosity in case I ever come to own one!

RL19 is what I run outta mine Pat. I think alot of folks have good luck with IMR4350 as well. I know that is a favorite amongst the IMR powder guys.

Awesome bullet!
The 338 RUM pushes the 210 gr PT at 3200 fps with 92.0 grs RL22 and sub .5 MOA.

JD338

I am very impressed with them as well outta my 338 Win Mag. I am not pushing them anywhere near what JD's RUM will, but I lay down about 3050-3060 FPS and they are pretty accurate outta my rifle.

Sadly, they are now out of stock. On the bright side, they do now also show some 225 gr Partitions available for the .338. But I am guessing they might be a little too heavy for effective performance in a .338 Federal.

Dang it. Doesn't that figure. I just got my delivery of the 210's! I kinda wanted to lay into a bunch of 225's as well. Either way, depending on how the 210's work, I might have enough for quite awhile.

We need some 225 gr 35 cal partitions to come through as seconds.
A few hundred more of those, then my Whelen bullet inventory would be good

Yeah, those are the ones you really gotta jump on when they pop up.. I guess I will have some competition the next time they come around!

it would be awesome if you could buy something(s) from SPS, pay for it now and have them ship it later, even if they had to change the shipping a bit to cover the increased shipping costs, just make bracketed shipping categories based on weight or amount of product

it could be good that they don't as I'd have a lot more bullets on order but at the same time, can I have too many to try out

my only order so far was when they had 2 different bullets I wanted to try, so i ordered 100 of the one and 50 of another just trying to get the most for the $$

I'm at the point I order at least 300. Haven't found many Noslers that don't work good for something.

I ordered 100 of the 210's. They're the first bullet I can seat to the lands and fit in my magazine. They kiss at 3.398", so I loaded up a string with H4350 at 3.380". Hoping that demon slut rifle finally comes alive...

I shot the 210 PT's out to 600 yards today. They did pretty well, they aren't a high BC bullet, but I push them outta my rifle at 3050 and they shoot MOA or better out to 600. I verified my drops out to 500 today with my 275 yard zero on the rifle. 2" low at 300, 11" low at 400 and 33" low at 500.. I was very happy. I did dial in the dope to get on target at 600, but the load is very capable to 500 yards. The 210 PT seems like a winner. If I can stone kill an elk with them, I would love to give a post shot review on them too!
