Stag Super Varminter

Anyone have anything to do with this rifle? I have one and have yet to get close to .5 group accuracy claimed with match factory ammo. It has less than 200 rounds through it.

Thoughts?

What twist is the barrel? What kind of ammo have you tried?

1 in 8 twist
24" bull barrel

5.56 nato chamber

Remington primier match 62 gr
PRVI Partizan match 69 gr
Hornady match 75 gr

Does Stag recommend a certain brand of match ammo? I figured you had a 1-9 twist and trying to shoot 77 grainers or heavier. That 1-8 should get it done.

I don't know if stag recommends a certain round if you hear of anything let me know.
Through my bore scope The barrel looks great their is a inch long scratch in the groove but it does not seem to be effecting anything. My accuracy is acceptable at around an inch but they claim better and I expected better. I really do not want to be one of those guys that send barrels / guns back. To me it must be my fault because it must have tested good at factory.
