Steiner Peregrine XP 8x44 Tripod adapter

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for a tripod adapter for these binos - there not designed for a standard screw in adapter.

The only thing I can find is the Bog Gear binocular harness that has a piece of rubber elastic tie down that straps the binos down onto the tripod adapter.

Steiner makes a center mount adapter for these binoculars which costs about $30. You can find them online on optics equipment sites.
