Storing Powder and Primers in a Residents

How much gun powder can you have in your residents legally and how must it be stored, according to local, state, federal fire codes? Are there also restrictions on primers? With component shortages these past few years I think we all may be guilty of hoarding and some may be inadvertently in violation.

I do not have an answer for you, but, if you are concerned about an accidental fire in your residence you might start with your insurance company in the event you have to file a claim to see if they have exclusions and or limits in this area.

Other than that you could Google legal storage limits in your state if you are concerned about it.
