Well its not often I have a day like this at the range. Took three rifles and all three did VERY well. Was shooting an older Remington 700 .243 for a gal friend of mine that is trying to teach her elf how to hunt. Got her some 95gr. NBTs and some IMR 4350 and tried 39.5 up to 41 in half grain sets. Here is the best that it did. This thing has a old Bushnell 4x scope and a trigger that almost takes a body builder to pull. I was very happy to see this group out of it! Think I might do a bit of trigger work for her, and she'll be set for deer season next weekend.
Next up was my wifes 7-08. I havn't got to do much work with it after the bed job, but it sure seems to have helped...A TON! Here are a few foulers and then a scope adjustment with two more shots. Should work for her doe tag in three weeks.
Here is my 280 AI with two 160 AB with 60gr. 7828. I now have over 150 rounds down the barrel, and she is looking like she is getting better every time I put it on paper. Only two shots because I only had two bullets left.
Kind of feel funny showing off two shot groups (7-08 and 280AI), but what the heck, it made my morning!
