Today I ran into--Scotty in Northern Virginia. Not an accident. I have recently moved into the northern Virginia area. I PM'd him the other day, and he took 3 and a half hours (or 4?) out of his morning to show me around his hunting area / range / let me sight in my 30-06 for my upcoming elk trip.

A big thanks to Scotty for taking that time. Time is my most important resource, and I would guess the same for most of us.

That is awesome! A great testament to the character of the people here on this forum! There is a reason I stick around here.

Scotty is a real asset to our Forum. Although I have never met him in person, he has given me input many times and helped me out when I was in a real bind with the bullet shortage a year ago. His act of kindness doesn't surprise me, That's Scotty!!

Scotty, has always had our back's as has several others. I know he is very busy traveling back and forth right now but he still finds the time to have an interest in what we are doing and our various projects. Don, I will go one step further, Scotty is a real asset to humanity

Amen, Scotty thank you for all that you give to this forum. But even more than that thank you for what you do to protect the freedoms that all of us enjoy!!!

Blessings,
Dan

I hate to say it but Scotty is a great guy and this forum is full of them. There are some fantastic folks on here who really do care about other folks and aren't afraid to back it up with their actions. Good on both of you guys.

Yup had the opportunity to meet both Scotty, Brian ( woodycreek), and Mike ( 280Remington) two falls ago in Paxton NE for dinner and maybe a few libations at Ole's Big Game and Steak house.

Great night for friendship and stories.

And yes I agree with everyone. Great man there. Great people here.

Man, thanks folks! Appreciate it. Always willing to meet up with a folks on here and LEL. Haven't ran across anyone yet that I wouldn't share a campfire with.

Joel, I apologize for being so quick, but we were behind the 8 ball getting some food in the ground. We did however finally finish seeding the last of the plots yesterday. Should pay off for the little guys this Fall. Hope to see more of the kids standing over deer this year.

It is a pleasure to interact with Scotty, for sure. I'm looking forward to meeting at some point in the future. The forum is populated with some quality people.
