The 30-378 & Nosler data, is it too conservative?

I have wondered about the 30-378 Weatherby Nosler data for some time in the Nosler manual. Why so conservative on powder charges and velocity in here? Was the data checked on a wildcat short throat 30-378? Was kind of hoping for something different out of new Nosler 6 regarding this caliber.

For example when I look at the manual under H1000 for 180 grain bullets. I read the following for maximum charges.

H1000
30-378 Wby ..... 100.0 grains = 3187 FPS
300 RUM............ 96.0 grains = 3225 FPS
300 Wby ........... 89.0 grains = 3146 FPS

I know H1000 is not as optimum for the 30-378 as powders such as Retumbo, Reloader 25 and MRP-2. But none the less it can give accurate groups at more velocity than the manual shows, using 215M primers from my experience.

FWIW The factory load in 180 grain bullets average 3416 FPS for 9 shots in my 26" Accumark.

Ramshot powder lists a 180 grn Nos Part. in their load data starting load of 95.8 grn Ramshot Magnum(3068fps)-max load of 106.4gns.(3409fps).COL3.60"

With a 220 Nos Part. 88.5(2779fps)-98.3gns maxload(3088fps), COL 3.645"

I've been using this powder with Sierra 200 grn bullets, it is very accurate about 1 grn below maxload. I'll be trying it with Accubonds when it warms up a little.

I got 3300 fps with a 200 AB with retumbo in one rifle nd barely over 3200 in another! Same deal with the 180's ...about 100-150 fps apart.

On average, Nosler is conservative with their loading data. Considering the wide varity of rifles, and experience levels of reloads, and variety of components that can be mixed and matched, that's probably not a bad thing. I usually cross reference several loading books before I ever settle on a starting, and possible maximum load.
