She came in the other day and I already ordered the Mossy oak synthetics for her. I hope she shoots.
My 7600 30-06 is going to be my back up gun on all my hunts and truck gun.
Trigger pull is 2.5 lbs BTW!

That is a light touch on a 7600 trigger, Fotis. Good job. It will look very nice when you're finished.

Slick rifle, it should work great for you. I've always liked the old pumps, and most I've owned would shoot under 1.5" without much work. Accuracy probably would have been better if I'd had the trigger springs then you can put in them now.

I picked up a new one to play with also a couple weeks ago, a Remington 7615 Police model. I thought that a 16" barrelled 223 would be a good gun for behind the tractor seat and calling predators at closer ranges. The police model has the 1 in 9 twist barrel also so I can shoot heavier bullets. I put a Timney 2lb trigger spring in and added a 3x9 Leupold VXII and started shooting some factory ammo I had on hand. After sighting in two 3 shot groups with Ultramax 50gr TNT ammo measured .7", not bad! The next groups with Black Hills 55gr softpoint reman ammo averaged .55", even better! On the negative side, Black Hills 60gr Partition loads opened up to 3". I have shot part of that same box of Partition ammo through 3 very accurate 223 rifles, and that is as good as any have done with it. I need to load some 60gr partitions sometime, but don't really need that expensive a 223 load. I haven't loaded anything yet but just picked up a box of Sierra 65gr gamekings to play with.

Fotis,

Very nice looking rifle.
Looking forward to the range report.
