Finally got a chance to get some pictures of her up. With the Zeiss 4.5-14x50 in medium rings on an EGW 20 MOA base, she weighs 9.8 pounds on the nose. The stock really turns some heads when the light catches it right. The action...not the "true" controlled round feel as I prefer, but I like it. Now to find time to shoot her and see what she is capable of.

I wish I reloaded because I really want to give those 162gn A Max's a spin in this rig...

Pretty skookum rig. I can only imagine that you are going to love pulling the trigger on this. It is definitely set up for business.

Very nice! Man, that rifle looks awesome! I've got you covered when you start to load your own though.

What a rifle. Looks like you could have got by with Lows on the rings just fine as well. Very nicely set up rifle. Congrats.

I love the Zeiss line of scopes. Very clear, and built like a tank. I have a 3-9 on my 7mm08 and the 4.5-14 on this one with target turrets

Very nice looking rifle! I'm glad you got it all set up the way you want. They are fine looking rifles, and yours should excel at longish range shooting.

With the 7mm WSM, I'd recommend you get into handloading as soon as possible. Save for a good press and a set of "competition" dies (Redding is great) then find the bullet you want to use... Norma makes GREAT .300 WSM brass, I'm not sure about the availability of 7mm WSM quality brass.

BTW - you've got some strange looking plants down there in Florida, I don't know if they'd work out so well here in central Washington!

Dang, I'm glad to see that you've got that rifle and all set up with a serious scope too.

Cool.

I have one of those myself. When I get my life back in order, I will mount up a Viper PST and see how she does.

Well, I'll be ......., the medium rings give that scope about 6mm of clearance! Nice looking rifle, the coyotes and deer should be very afraid? Show us how it groups when you get a chance?

That is a great looking rifle congratulations on your purchase :)
Look forward to range photos a load work up.

Blessings,
Dan

Once I get back from my two-week training I will be dragging this baby out with my 7mm08 and seeing what she is capable of. I have a few boxes of 150grn Fusions to try, but I know this thing will really shine with handloads, especially those 162 AMAX's.
