Ordered a couple boxes of the Trophy Grade 165 grain AB's for the 30-06 a couple weeks ago and got out to the range this morning. The 165 AB is the one I will go with this fall for whitetails. It shoots the first two touching and the third opens the group up to about 3/4 inch. The barrel heats up quick this time of year. It shoots the TG 150 PT's very well too. I also got a chance to runs some of the TG 100gr AB's throught the 257 Roberts, also a TGR and it is a great match. Three rounds touching with boring regularity. But to be honest this 257 hasn't found anything it won't shoot yet. I have a Trijicon 3X9X40 on the 06', green dot, mill dot. Right now I have a VX3 4.5X14 on the 257 but that will not stay on that gun. I am considering either the VX3 2.5X8 or the Zeiss Conquest 3X9. The Luepy is a better fit but I sure do have a lot of confiedence in that Zeiss. To say I am very satisfied with the TGR and the trophy grade ammo would be an understatement.
