This evil temptress will not leave me alone!

Very nice Fotis.. Pretty sure scopes are shaking right now at the thought of going atop that rifle...

Nope not if she is unbraked, then all is OK. When you brake it that is when the recoil impulses change (like a springer air rifle) and eats scopes.

My deerload consist of:

110 grain Norma MRP
300 grain Swift A frame
Vo= 3010 ft/sec.

I have plannes to use a lighter weight bullet al a TSX, AB or GMX for the +3200 ft/sec loads. I wish one day like to hunt mountain zebra in Namibia one day using the .378Wea.

Nice is yours braked?

My rifle has muzzlebrake however shootingranges prohibits these brakes as it becomes too loud for fellow shooters. My first 5 shots with this rifle was braked, but I have since never used it. The brake is an AccuBrake...works very well actually. Firing the .378wea with brake creates a dirt kicking muzzleblast it makes things dirt/dust work whirl up that it becomes too annoying.

You guys are killing me with all this big bore talk and porn :mrgreen: I was trying to scope my Weatherby Limited Edition that is inbound and my my my am I getting anxious which is not a good thing :roll: I did watch the Video of the Weatherby front office on their 460 range trip and stitches were probably needed as lots of scope rings and blood were involved! Un braked trip :lol: I guess my 338-378 will last me a little while but the 378 does tickle my VISA , guess I need to call and upgrade it's limit :shock:

Yup that is what they tell me ...Zeiss is strong.

I love that Zeiss 1.5x6. I would like one of those. Supposed to be excellent glass.

I have a 1.5 to 6 30mm diavari Zeiss on my 458 lott.
