I hadn't seen this when I wrote on your daughter's buck. I do love moose meat, and you got a good looking animal. Congratulations.

That is a beauty, do the always come whole like that???? Looks like a real dandy

Really nice moose, congratulations. The 150 gr GMX looks to have done the trick nicely and the 308 Norma is ultra cool 8)

That is a great looking Bull congratulation on a fine trophy :). With that buck your daughter connected on you should have some fine eating this winter
Thank you for the photos..

Blessings,
Dan

I do like the .308 Norma. I've worked up loads for several in this country during the past several years. That is an impressive cartridge.

I was avoiding this spot just because I knew it would take a lot of work getting a animal out. I always said I'd shot a moose in there, but wind and me being lazy kept me out for most of rut. I shot this moose 8:30 in morning, but took till noon to get him on the trailer, after going back for quad at truck and cutting my way in and out. A lot of work, a hot chain saw, flat tire due to antler poking hole and a heavy grunt for the 300 up some big hills, but I was happy looking back at my full freezer. Lol.

Very nice moose! Congrats. I am with the others, cool combo with the 308 Norma and the 150GMX! Looks like it works perfectly!

Nice moose!

A guy named Weatherby runs a .308 NM.... You musta evolved since you chose your screen name ;) !!

I like it all; my experience w/ the GMX is similar though on a smaller scale (90 gr into dink whitetail).

No, just can't find a elk or bull moose to stand in front of barrel when I carry my bee so far, but I'm not very inventive in my name either. I just like weatherbys and Gm's, and I like to pretend I'm a man. Lol.

I am looking forward to either wife, one of two daughters getting there moose with wife 303 Brit 140 grn mono flex, older and her 110 ttsx, youngest and her 90 grn e-tip next year. I'd enjoy if can throw a cow elk in there too. I might even try a load of e tips in the 303 Brit to , better bc for that 300 yard shot if need be .

Nice moose man! Congratulations. Life is good when you can skid stuff out whole. Happiness is an ATV with an animal on it!
