That is a great looking Bull congratulation on a fine trophy . With that buck your daughter connected on you should have some fine eating this winter
Thank you for the photos..
I was avoiding this spot just because I knew it would take a lot of work getting a animal out. I always said I'd shot a moose in there, but wind and me being lazy kept me out for most of rut. I shot this moose 8:30 in morning, but took till noon to get him on the trailer, after going back for quad at truck and cutting my way in and out. A lot of work, a hot chain saw, flat tire due to antler poking hole and a heavy grunt for the 300 up some big hills, but I was happy looking back at my full freezer. Lol.
No, just can't find a elk or bull moose to stand in front of barrel when I carry my bee so far, but I'm not very inventive in my name either. I just like weatherbys and Gm's, and I like to pretend I'm a man. Lol.
I am looking forward to either wife, one of two daughters getting there moose with wife 303 Brit 140 grn mono flex, older and her 110 ttsx, youngest and her 90 grn e-tip next year. I'd enjoy if can throw a cow elk in there too. I might even try a load of e tips in the 303 Brit to , better bc for that 300 yard shot if need be .
