Partly true; lazy journalism on my part. Elon does hold a security clearance but as of Feb 4th that level of clearance has not been increased to the same level a number of his employees have. For example he is unable to access areas of space x, or know the payloads of some of the rockets he sends up. It came up in a recently in a White House press conference. Character flaws related to achieving higher security clearances seem to be the issue. Trump may change that, I don’t think Musk cares. My concern is the vetting done on him shows concerns based on the history of how it’s been done, and he and his wiz kids are, were writing code, to affect who was or would continue to get checks from the government. Bloated federal work forces and budgets can certainly be reduced, I’m in full support of that. I see Musk being reckless, that’s my concern.
