Tikka & Sako recall

I just stumbled across this by accident. Seems like some Tikka and Sako rifles have exploded when fired. This seems to be limited to around 2004, I bought mine in 2007 and my serial numbers are not on the list.
There is a lot of internet chatter (mostly old) about this if you search for it.
First link is the Beretta recall site where you can check your serial number.

Seeing as this is an older recall it might have just slipped my attention. But I would have thought there would have been a wider notice about a dangerous situation.

Thanks for the heads up, but that recall was many years ago for some reason or another, I do believe that Sako Finland has resolved that issue.
