Tikka T 3 6.5x55 :)

It certainly looks like a Tikka. I know you each are going to enjoy this rifle. Gerry, you may just forget the 270 and pick up another 6.5X55.

I do have a 260 Rem and have been gearing up for a 270 Win for a while, the 6.5x55 is a great one though :)

In taking a good look at the gun I was also impressed with the blueing on it as well, in all it is a nicely put together package.

I bought my first Tikka last summer. I used it for a build for my grandson. Yeah, it was turned into a left-handed .260 Remington.

That's a nice gun, have you done any work with it yet?

I was put off a bit by the plastic parts in the past on them but I don't mind it so much now, besides there are a bunch of aftermarket parts starting to come out now for the T 3's if someone doesn't like some feature they have.

I just wish that Beretta (Sako) would not make the Tikka stock design so close to a Sako stock. For a $1000 premium for the Sako, they should be able to come up with a different design for the Model 85 Sako? Just my $.02.

I've done nothing with it yet, though I need to get on it. Summer is coming, and Noah will be up here again. I want to have a load ready for him to work with.

Nice rifle but the bolt is on the wrong side?!

I think you will save money in the long run by just shooting one load in each rifle you own. Stick with your hunting bullet (the Partition or AccuBond). By the time you get your cheaper bullet sighted in and regulated to your hunting ammo you can have purchased a bunch of your good stuff.

Ive been there and am guilty.

Nice rifle and ctg.

My Tikka 6.5 Swede with a Leupold. 2.5-8x36

She likes 130 and 140 AB

Nice 6.5 Swede. I generally settle on one bullet for each rifle. However lately that has been more of a challenge to accomplish with supply being as behind as it has been since the election in 2012.

I have it sighted in using 140 gr AB but I have a while bunch of 123 gr Custom comp that I shoot groups with without worrying about where on target. Enjoyable caliber
