I shot one of those once, maybe twice. Didn’t care to do so again.

Friend built a 510 Wells...the 460 Wby necked up to 50 cal...shoots a 700 gr bullet.
I shot that rifle twice! Bullets landed on target about an inch apart @ 100 yards...hard to believe I managed that with that shoulder-mounted cannon offhand!
It rocked my world! Pun intended!
Not an experience I care to repeat...for any reason.

With no brake I bet it’s a hoot. I don’t understand why they didn’t add a 700 recoil lug. My 460 has 2 recoil lugs.

Several years ago there was a member of our range who bought a Weatherby 460. He coned another member into shooting it for him as he himself had not done so. After two shots, hat turned sideways and some blue streaks hitting the airways the owner cased said rifle and traded it having never fired a shot. True story.
