So today was an interesting day went and picked up rings for the Leppy going on the 6-284 got rings but no new bases so got home cleaned everything up and got her mounted. Took me a few shots to get her dialed in but wow new eyes turned her into a tack driver now I'm out of 100 gr Sierras so now I get to start over with 95BT. I shot the whole arsonnel so it was a great day. Wanted to shoot another group with the 280 and I was all over. I had messed with the trigger to try and lighten it up because I've felt like its not as consistent day in and out as I want. Two in one way out two in one way out. So I put it up grabbed the ar-10 and got her dialed in shooting .4 MOA even played with shoot the numbers off the Target. Then shot the 243 and ar-15 I was hitting everything. So I took the 280 apart and cleaned it nothing obvious so I figured since I had my lapping kit out I went a head and took the scope off and lapped the rings when I found a defect that was probably a tenth of an inch off the inside of the front ring. Hopefully I will get a chance to shoot tomorrow.

That looks like a good day, for certain. I spent my day making loads, and I'm still working them up this evening. Trigger time comes next week.

It snowed here the last two days, melting again now.

The rifle looks very nice, good luck with it.

Nice NV. Glad you have it figured out. It is always something with these rifles!

Glad you were able to get out and get some shooting in. That makes for a much better existence!

It always amazes me how many things have to go right for a rifle to shoot fine groups.

If you just shot your Winchesters you would have it down to a few less things to worry about!

Just don't talk about your 264 right. Although that thing is amazing now!

No doubt. It was fun just to shoot. But then the last 4 rounds for that brno blew me away it was awesome. Now with finding the ring issue on the 280 I'm hoping that and my trigger work finally makes it really consistent. As I know I can do my part and the rifle can as well just not everytime yet. But all in all a great day.

As much as I would love to blame the rifle for it, it is all bullet! Trust me, when its the rifles fault, you'll know about it! I don't hold back with any of them.
