I ordered the speedlock pin and spring and a remington replacement firing pin assembly to replace by iss lock.
I have several questions.
Is the speedlock an easy install or does it need to be done by a gunsmith?
Even though it is a remington part the finish on the bolt shroud looks nothing like my remington LSS MTN rifle, is that a bead blast finish which I assume a smith can duplicate?
I have read about methods to lap the locking lugs without removing the barrel, has anyone done it with success??
