UN ATT--Again

The Obama administration indicates that it will sign the UN ATT. What this means for American gun owners is at best uncertain. What is clear is that it will ultimately change things in ways that can only be said to be intolerable. Now is the time to write your congressman and senator. Tragically, any letter to the administration will likely be forwarded to the IRS, inviting further scrutiny.

The good news for now is it looks like there's not a snowball's chance in hell of this getting ratified. It's just one more thing odumba is going to do that will end up making him look impotent. One can only hope the public is so tired of scandal and so sick of stagnation of the economy and destruction of industries across the spectrum, that they'll revolt against government en masse and elect small government conservatives to undo all the junk this boob has done.

Lautenberg died today and another New York anti gunner in the Senate has terminal cancer. The flies are gradually falling off the corpse that feeds them!

Based on the voting record of the state of NY, I'm pretty sure the replacement will be just as horrible an ideologue, and just as ignorant of the facts of reality, as the late senator Lautenberg and sitting senator Schumer. No good politics will come from the northeast again in the senate.

And for the sake of anyone reading who believes pro-gun folks are just hate mongers, I have nothing personal against Lautenberg, and am sorry for his family. His politics were abhorrent, and his ideology ignorant and punitive, but I do not wish him dead. Just electorally and ideologically defeated.

I don't know how up to date this is but I received an e-mail this date indicating that congress had voted on the UN small arms treaty and it was shot down by four votes. Another slap in the face for the clown taking up space in the white house. Unfortunately my senator Bill Nelson voted for the treaty. He sends all his constituents form letters indicating that he is a gun owner and was brought up on a farm and he is representing us but obviously is wedded to his democratic party. This issue will probably now be put in a pending file in hopes that after the next election it can be revoted on and passed.
