I just loaded up some 50 grain bullets with Varget and 1/2 grain of powder sure makes a difference.

I am getting similar groups with Varget and the 60gr Partition and 50gr Ballistic Tip w/ Varget. It always seems to be an accurate powder for me. Scotty

You are good to go!
Nice shooting.

Wow. Crazy difference from 35.5 grains to 36 grains...

I'd try that one again - a few times. I've never seen such a huge difference due only to a half-grain charge difference.

That rifle is certainly capable of excellent accuracy.

Yea! I agree it's a lot for 1/2 gr and I'll re-do it. This gun seems finicky, I have another group with 5 shots that will hide behind a dime with the h414, but then it'll throw one. It's a Savage Weather Warrior with a 22 inch lightweight barrel so I don't expect miracles. It's also fussy with the C.O.L. and is now at 2.37. I tried it all the way out to 2.48 and it just did 1 inch groups.
