Feeling really blessed.
While my wife and I have a small garden here in our city version of Purgatory we cannot grow enough vegetables to be self sustaining. Two friends told me about a concept called, "Market On The Move".
For a small fee, $10 here, you can get up to 60 pounds of in season vegetables and fruits. I'd suggest giving them a look if they are in your area. It's a great way to get fresh produce without the grocery store price and cheaper than our local Farmer's Market.

I'll be cooking a lot more vegetables now that I can get them at a good price.

We had a similar concept in Vancouver when I lived there. They still have it going; my daughter participates. Great concept.

Saturday morning and I just hit the market.

Laid in a supply of honeydew and watermelon as well as a few peppers and yellow squash. Just as I find this moving vegetable market they are holding the last one of the year. Luckily they will continue through the year but in a fixed location, downtown, until November.

I ain't poor but I do like to save a dollar when I can and this is a great concept. I'm thanking my neighbor for telling me about this. In return I left him a bag of watermelon and veggies to say Thank You!

Yes there is a program here in Regina that sounds to be similar and my cousin is involved.
It is a great deal to get some good home grown veggies

Blessings,
Dan
