VX-6 2-12x42...any thoughts?

Thinking about upgrading my scope on my 300 and several friends have suggested this as a good candidate that performs well as the price range.

Anyone got one they'd like to share their experience with?

I have two of these scopes. They are a great buy and excellent glass. Whilst the clarity, flare, etc. can be distinguished when compared to say a Zeiss Victory or a Swarovski Z6, they are a great buy. For the money, they approximate top tier.

Thanks guys- looking hard at them. I'd love to have a Swaro or a Zeiss Victory but I subject my rifle to some rough conditions. The scope would take it, but I don't know if I could!

One of my friends reports that he prefers his VX-6 to his Z5 Swaro, I know I looked through his Z5 and all my scopes just became junk.
