Weaver "Sharp shooter" any body have any details. EDIT: Weaver Marksman

A weaver "sharp shooter". I have one - looks like a lot like your avaerage "K" series, is a steel 1inch tube made in USA, with a very fine cross hair. I'm assuming its not a rimfire scope 'cause back then nobody put a one inch tube on a .22. Any one have one or know any details about them? Thanks CL

OOPS- My mistake - Looked at it again - more closely- The scope in question is a Weaver "marksman" model. Anybody know any particulars on this model? It is marked 4x and made in the USA. Thanks CL

That is a series/model that I don't remember. What power is it? May want to contact Weaver to see if you can get some information.

I saw a 3-9 version of it on vintagegunscopes.com a while back, maybe you can find some info there.

You are correct- based on what I saw there, if I recall they list it as sold from 81-84. Still havent found any info on how they were different from the "K" series. CL
