I drew an antelope lic. last year in WY and saw some really good mulie bucks
on the same ranch, so ..... . I've hunted there in the past and didn't notice the mulies
before . Montana may be beconing again for antelope, but numbers are said to be
down there. I'll make a few calls to ranches I've hunted in the past. Nobody knows the numbers like the landowners :mrgreen: .

You are correct on that one! That being said I can't speak for all areas of the state, but over near Lewistown where we hunt, they have taken a real hit the last couple years. Permit numbers are way down.

I finally have enough preference points for the deer tag I want in Colorado and will probably put in for that, I'm still a couple of years away before I'll have enough for the Elk tag I want. I havent ruled out putting in for a Montana deer tag. If I don't draw anything I'm going to get another Montana Black Bear tag.

My reduced price cow calf, application went to Wyoming today. !!! I will also buy another preference point. Next up is Arizona application, which I probably will not draw, but will gain a pp.

We did not draw in Wyoming, my first time in 6 different applications. They reduced the overall tag numbers so there were only 8 for non residents for our unit. We did not submit for a second choice.
