What is the cause of the lack of quality? Is it materials used, machinery used to manufacture parts, or the lack of workmanship when the parts are assembled? I certainly wouldn’t expect a $300 rifle to perform as well as $1,000 rifle but I’ve got some that do.
(I’m not talking about bench rest quality results, but the ability to go afield and confidently take game). What I would find unacceptable is leaving the store with a rifle that wouldn’t function as it should.
Is a plastic trigger guard really a deal breaker when it comes purchasing a rifle?
