What sights to use on this rifle?

What sights would you use. I was contemplating a tang peep but I do not want to drill the tang.

Marlin LTD-I .45/70

It has a 24" half octagon half round barrel, buckhorn sights, Ballard rifling.

Nope so we're looking at top receiver mounted peep

Actually when you blow up the picture it looks like it is T&D on the side for one of these which I have....

Skinners are great, though my most recent 336 has XS Ghost ring sights on it, and so far I like them. My son wanted to try a lever action with open sights, and I found a very nice one locally.

Not a fan of the Skinner.

Very much a fan of the Williams. Traditional I guess.

Any chance of finding an old Lyman??? Steel...

Fotis I would give Andy Trivette a call and get the measurements of the screw holes. Looks like he got some extra advertising on e-bay.
