What & where did you draw this year?

The positive side to all of this is that I have converted her to the dark side of hunting and have introduced her twin 16 YO daughters to target shooting. I have them hooked on the 22LR though I seem to have trouble getting them to shoot a 260 Remington.

Trail Boss is a great powder to try with minimal recoil, it goes bang but hardly kicks at all. Highly recommend it for exactly the situation you are in, we started my wife exactly that way with her Tikka 6.5x55 and she learned how to use her gun without fear of being hurt. Now she handles full power loads easily....

Congrats on the wedding , that's a draw well worth waiting for.

You mean that's on draw now? Kind of a limited entry, I guess.

Looks like I'm to be head guide and bottle washer again. I never drew a thing other then my save a doe tag . My nephew drew cow moose, and my good buddy drew cow moose.
I guess I will be chasing elk with my bow, that's a tough hunt around here and I will need some luck like last year. Was really hoping for my moose draw to fill the freezer, with beef prices where they are it's tough to have the money to feed a big family.
The one that is really starting to irk me is my mule buck draw, I'm now 6 years and holding every year I think this is the year and yet I don't get drawn. They either cut down on tags in the zone I hunt or more guys with higher priority are switching zones and jumping into my pool. Haha next year I guess.

...once again, "No Bull", got a cow & cow/calf for up behind the house, might still purchase an additional cow/ calf for up the river, but packing out 3 elk is starting to sound like 'work'...

I got a lot of hunting to do this fall. Starting off with a fly-out sheep hunt in 3 weeks. After that hunt, going to come home re-pack/clean gear and then head back out for some caribou hunting and early grizz.
