Rod,

I'm doing load development for my 6.5 - 284 Norma right now. Everything else is put in the back burner.

Just finished up some pressure trial loads using Re15 for my new Whelen. Shot Varget loads on Friday. Bear hunt in Arkansas coming up in six weeks!

On the bench right now are 270 WSM brass and 300 WSM brass, for which I'm working up loads. Sitting next to the desk are components for a 7mm RM which is to be used for a Coues Deer hunt in Old Mexico.

Loading my 300 winny for an upcoming elk hunt. Is now the time to experiment? I have one month before our hunt. 68 grn IMR 4350 is kind of bland, but shoots well. Thinking about working up to 70 grns.

Last trip to the range I tried 74.5 grn RL22. It did OK, but would also like to try 75 grns.

What to do… what to do…

Oh, and nice bench!

I am loading for my 280 AI with 140 gr AB's.

I'm think that one's begging for some H4831! Or maybe even H1000, since Re22 was okay.

Load your 300 WM with 75.0 grs RL 22 and a 180 gr PT or AB.
This is the magic load.

300wsm and 30-06. Muflon hunt next month. Depends on what part of the island we go to.

25-06 with 100 grain BT's that I picked up yesterday. Not a rifle or caliber that will be used for any hunting this year, just breaking in a new barrel. Loaded up groups of three using R19 and R17 to see how they shoot and what kind of velocity can be achieved. Tried R22 and 4831SC last Friday for the first 20 rounds down the barrel.

The hunting loads for this year are all set to go. Leaving Thursday for Montana  Will be testing the 130AB's out of the .260 on flesh instead of paper (hopefully). Deer season in Minnesota starts two days after I get back from Montana. I love this time of year!!!!

Rod - nice neat bench to work off...especially seeing the cartridge box labeled for the 257AI.

Just finished loading up some 25-06 with 110 AccuBond. 57gr of Re-22 at 3200 fps. I might take it out hunting this year. Not sure yet. Also loaded up some .257 Roberts with 110 AccuBond with 47.5 Re-22 at 3045 fps. I think the "Bob" might get the nod for opening morning. Unless I decide to take out the 7mm mag. Decisions-Decisions.

Hey Guys,

Thx for the compliments on the clean bench, I guess my OCD shows.. That bench can be a full blown reloading production center, to a fishing rod spinning bench to a computer research center in just a few minutes. It was built to be my "Man Cave/Office", but some how ended up being the computer room as there are 4 computers in that room. Easiest way I can control the kids computer time..... Oh well, couple more yrs and its all mine...

Dudes... I loaded up some new loads for the 270 win. for bear hunting. As soon as my wife gets some more sleep, we are heading the range to test them out.

Well between shooting with my wife, taking her out to find a doe, and setting up a 1100 yard range with Remingtonman I managed to get 186 .223 brass prepped and ready to load up tonight. I'll be stuffing them with 28 gr Benchmark, fed 205s, and 40gr BTs. Next up is some more 120 BT for my wifes 7-08. After shooting a bit this weekend and smoking a doe I think she is kind of getting excited about what she can do when she practices!

I got find some time as I have to load for the up coming Muley hunt.
I will be loading partitions for my 270 win 130gr.
And also for the 7mm mag. 160gr Accubonds

Blessings,
Dan

300 RUM with 200gr ABs and Retumbo.
.308 Win with 150gr BTs and Varget.
.243 Win with 95gr BTs and H100V.

.308, 325WSM,338WIN MAG and 300WSM! Got my 308 shooting excellent groups with 165gr Accubonds -48gr Varget - A little hot but no pressure signs. Just shot 110 rounds of 325WSM(ouch) I think I found "the load" 65gr of IMR4077ssc and 200gr AccuBond it shoots at .75"! The 338 is an orphan - can't find brass. I just got the 300WSM, going to start work ups tonight. So much work to do .... and so much fun to have! Now all I have to decide is which ones get to go to the Dark Continent looking for non-paper targets 8)
