Whats the Difference

between the .308 Partion and the .308 Partion Gold :?:

And is the Partion Gold something you would hunt with?

go to the bullet section on the main Nosler page.... all the info is there on the two bullets. The "gold" Partition is a beefed up version that will hold its wieght a lil better then the original.......

Partitions are only meant to hold about 65% of there weight. PT Golds are meant to hold around 80%. I have only shot the 160g 7mm and they did retain about 85% I believe. They would be an excellent elk/bear bullet in my opinion.
