Meopta 3.5-10x44 for $349.99 is hard to beat. Other great choices to be sure but, for the money that one would be on my "short list".

Meopta also has a 4.5-14X44 MC side paralex adjustment just like my Zeiss Conquest since they made both these scopes for Zeiss.
