Hey Guys, and our one girl. I need new brass to form 6.5/300 WSM cases, and have been waiting for Nosler to produce their 270WSM brass. But I can't wait any longer, so between Winchester and Remington who's is more consistent and better in uniformity?

I've found Winchester Western brass to be superior to Remington Peters brass in almost every aspect. I recently had a lot of Remington brass that had virtually no ductility to it whatsoever. The cases were smoked regardless of the charge; they wouldn't seal the wall of the chamber when fired. That was pretty disappointing.

If you are really looking for good brass I would look to Norma. Their brass is far superior to WW or RP.

+1

This is my brass for my personal loads.

I have been tempted to try something else for my other two short mags, as I have been using WW brass. I really cannot complain about it. It lasts a long time and turns in pretty good performance once it is all trued up. I would love to have Norma for the 270/7WSM.

IMO hands down the winner when factoring in everything is Winchester. I have some that is now well into its double digit on times fired and showing no signs of quitting soon in 300 WSM.

Factoring in performance, price, longevity Winchester brass does ALL of those things very well.
