Wife draws first blood!!!

Well we are over a month into the WI archery season and my wife was able to connect on a doe last night. It was the first deer she shot while sitting alone. I got a text saying, "just shot" 5 min later, "I just heard a thud and some leaves move 60 yards away" Well after an hour we check the arrow and there was blood with some gut. The plan was to track to the last sound. After 10 minutes of going real slow, I picked the lantern up and saw white belly. It was at the last sound she heard. The doe went max 60 yards.

Thanks for the kind words. She was very proud of herself. She even mentioned going hunting next weekend by herself while I am at my masters class. I think her confidence is strong. I did learn one thing, cell phones are not good for hero shots. I need to start packing my camera again incase we get another one.
