Ok what is the going rate for a bag of 50 in your area? The best deal I found was 19.99 at Walmart
in Middle Tennessee. How bout you?

Don

I'd be getting all over that if I were you. Best prices around my area are right in the neighborhood of Midway's, and they're at $25/50.

The cheapest I can get them is 28.00 unless I order from Midway and then shipping has to be added to the 24.99 price tag. I am not happy with Winchester right now not due to price but due to a lower quality than in the past.

$27.99/50 Winchester 30-06. Wow, we're not all that far behind US prices!

The other day while working in the area I remembered this particular Walmart had some reloading components, sooooooo decided to pay a visit. I almost fell over when I saw the price. I quickly purchased a bag knowing the best price I knew was about 26.00 and some change. Unbelievable.

Ditto in Walmart here

That WalMart isn't in Fayetteville, is it? That's the only middle TN WalMart I know of that routinely carries handloading supplies.

A friend just bought a bag while were out the other day, $24.99. Wish walmart carried reloading supplies around here.

When you live where I live and the gas prices are like they are and the few gun shops here (if that is what you want to call them) I am left with buying my reloading supplies on line at places like Midway.

dubyam,
Yes sir it's in Fayetteville. They have a good supply of rifle powder too, prices aren't bad either.
Looks as if they are stocked up for the upcoming Hunting season already.

I don't ever pay for 30-06 brass. I just go to the local TWRA shooting ranges a little before deer season and pick it up off the ground where people leave it when sighting in their rifles.

Yup done that a number of times, good to build up inventory, usually find all the common brass at local gun range, just need to have some one to fire off a box of 257 bee every year and I'm set.
