Got a like new win 63 today that my grandpa bought in the 40's. took it out and put 30-40 rounds through it. It's a cool old gun that looks like new yet.View attachment image.jpg

They are sweet shooters. Mine hangs up on cheep ammo on occasions but loves mini mags.
 
Nice rifle! I have one of the Japanese-Winchester Model 63's that they made back in 2001 in a short run. I have a Leupold Rimfire 2-7x28 scope on it and it shoots about 1 inch groups at 50 yards. They do need premium ammo to work properly. Mine runs 1240 fps on up ammo just fine.
 
Oh right the Model 63 was introduced in 1933 and the earlier models did not have 3/8's scope grooves until just before stopping production in 1958. I forget about that because mine has them, Duh!
