With due respect to Chuck Mangione

Heck, I'll listen to most everything, excepting bubblegum pop and opera. And anything with a harpsichord (sp?). Grooving to a little Robert Cray this afternoon.

Got all my '06, .300 WM, & 7mm RM sized, and made a dent on sizing .38/.357.

Yup, my collection is electic as heck.. From Eminem - Chili Peppers - Don "Gentle Giant" Williams - Vince Gill - Allison Krause - Devo - Big Band Jazz - Doc Severenson - Molly Hatchett - Etc...

But I am a Rocker at heart!! Was jammin to Buck Cherry on the way in to work..

Ah, true confession time. My musical tastes are eclectic. I was trained in the Big Band style, but I can say that I enjoy classical music. Unfortunately, we don't have a decent station that plays classical music here. No, Rod, that isn't the Beatles or Elvis; it is Vivaldi, Mozart, Chopin, etc. This is cowboy country, and I do listen to a fair amount of Country and Western. I do enjoy good rock, though I can't say that I'm enthused by rap. Nevertheless, the wound of gunfire sending projectiles downstream is music to my ears. The "whomp" of a solid hit on good game brings a smile to my face.

I think you just found my favorite song! Scotty

 .... I cant stand but one or two songs by the Beatles, Beach Boys or Elvis, never understood the draw..... Doc, regarding stations, try living in Fargo. We got Country, country, country, country, bubble-gum, country and an oldies.. No Jazz, Classical (other than NPR), Alternative, etc.... But we got Country....

True confessions: Out of all live performances I have attended, my favorites have always been by my kids, Symphonies, Concerts, Ensembles, Jazz Bands, Percussion/Drum Line & Marching Band performances....Etc.. 2-very active & musically inclined kids. I just got hearing aids a month or so ago, so music has taken on a new meaning.... I sure was missing alot...

Rod

I've been listening to Tool, not Mr. Mangione.

Hey Rod...there is a decent roc station up around 107 something in Fargo. I know what you are saying though. All I can say about the hearing aid is...HUH. Now your wife expects you to hear what she is saying...

chet,

I met Maynard at a clinic when I was in high school as well as Woody Herman. I really dig jazz ensembles. Heavy sax of course.

Think we're talking about different Maynards... I bet you're talking about Ferguson, versus Maynard James Keenan of Tool.
